Heads Up 7Up

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 23, 2007

You lay your head on your desk, your arms wrapped around to conceal your face, which is pressing against the desk that you realize 12 years later was probably sneezed on several times by one of your classmates only minutes earlier. At the time you begin smelling that strange spot on the desk. You wonder if it’s edible. Hmmm. Your thumb is up, high and proud. You begin to sweat and the air you breathe gets heavier and heavier. How to Properly Take a College Exam

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 14, 2007

This post will cause much debate, and as such, will be featured on Crossfire (is that show even around anymore?). I seem to be anomaly in the exam taking sphere. Friends have consistently used the phrase, “You’re much smarter than you come across,” to point out my uniqueness in how I study, do projects, and take exams. I won’t discuss how to study because everyone really is different in that respect. My way of learning is by doing. Reading notes and chapters will do me no good. I need practice quizzes and lots of problems. That’s me. Read the rest of this entry »

Observations on College Beauty: Seniors

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 5, 2007

Sadly, this mini series has come to an end. It’s been one of my favorite to write. In this last part of the “Observations on College Beauty” I will be focusing on college seniors. What a diverse group this is. They are even more varied than juniors.

Instead of being able to lump males or females in one general type of beauty, there are so many different types, that I’ll stick with a stereotype for each sex. Read the rest of this entry »

Posted by iwanttofitin on February 28, 2007

College sophomores really aren’t that much different than the freshmen. Yeah, they have one year under their belt, but all that has done for them is added 15lbs (some will have put on more) to their puny frames. That makes a huge difference with all those tight clothes they started with. The shirt no longer reaches the pants. The tire swing around your waste is kinda gross.

I’ll admit it, the sophomore isn’t that exciting. They dress and act the same as freshmen. There is one added difference. They like to talk about how they Read the rest of this entry »

Observations on College Beauty: Freshmen

Posted by iwanttofitin on February 27, 2007

Today I’ve decided to continue with some more college observations. Those who have been to college understand the diverse population. This will be a “Diversity Day” type article. I’m not talking about racial diversity. I’m talking about clothing diversity. Some clothing is definitely better than others. This will be part “1” or “Freshmen.” There will be three more parts outlining the typical clothing for your year in college. Read the rest of this entry »

You Send Your Children to Public Schools to Learn What?

Posted by iwanttofitin on February 24, 2007

Americans want the government to “teach” our children and we let it. “Oh, my school is one of the good ones.” Aren’t they all? This is what the government thinks your children should learn about homosexuality and you shouldn’t care one bit about it because it trumps your rights as a parent. The government entity knows better than the parents who live with and raise their own children.
