Boy Do I Suck

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 9, 2007

I’ve discussed my obsession with Guitar Hero before and I thought I was pretty decent. I can complete all songs on Expert mode except for Jordan and Six and even five star most of them. Those two songs are ridiculous for anyone. Now, I haven’t really practiced them but sometimes when I really want to hate myself I’ll play through Jordan and get around 50% of the way through before I fail. It’s understandable because that’s where the notes go crazy and no human being can possibly hit all of them.

This morning, a video was sent my way and I decided to check it out because it’s fun to watch really good people play the game. Well, this happened to be a girl and she made me want to cry. You really want to watch this. The main video is focused on her and the smaller inset video is the TV with all the notes. You’ll want to really pay attention from 1:28 through 3:15.

No Wonder I Have Trouble Hearing (Pictures Included)

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 6, 2007

A few years back I was increasingly having trouble hearing. Things were either getting muffled or I flat out couldn’t hear a word that was being said. What to do? I went to the doctor. You want to know what he found? I have overactive earwax production. He couldn’t see my eardrum. There was a bunch of wax stuck in there blocking the canal. Read the rest of this entry »

Man Drowns in a Fountain!

This clip is pretty funny. It takes a while to get going, but once the lifeguard has to save the swimmer, it’s worth it.

Time Travel: The Convoluted Part

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 4, 2007

This is the second part of my theory(?) that time travel is impossible. I’m really only dealing with traveling to the past because aren’t we all traveling forward every second? Also, some morons have pointed that out so I feel compelled to state that traveling backwards in time is my focus. Ok, on with the important stuff. I’m going to try and make this as easy to understand as possible using the least amount of words I can. Read the rest of this entry »

Big News! Europe Tops U.S. in Stock Market Value!

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 3, 2007

Let me ask you something? How biased is the title of this post? Think about it. Here is the article that discusses this “breaking” news.

How is this important or relevant? Well, supposedly this means that Europe is overtaking the U.S. That probably is correct in terms of overall economic clout. Read the rest of this entry »

There Is No Such Thing As Art

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 3, 2007

I have been struggling recently to define “art.” It happens to be something I was thinking about in a more specific area. My original thinking was that Christian music is awful. That took me to try and figure out what made “good” music, because I couldn’t argue if something was awful if I couldn’t prove it. Well, the problem with that is that there really Read the rest of this entry »

3D Chalk Pavement Art

Posted by iwanttofitin on April 2, 2007

Every once in a while you come across something that is so unique and interesting you just feel like sharing it with everyone. Well, today is one of those days. I’m sure a lot of you have seen these pictures before but that still doesn’t make them any less impressive.

These are 3D chalk pavement drawings. When looked at from the proper angle, it gives the impression of an image that looks strikingly realistic. Some actually can fool you at first glance. At the wrong angle, the images just look like extremely distorted drawings and there appears to be nothing very spectacular about them. But viewed right….well…go ahead and view some very cool pictures. Read the rest of this entry »

Susan B. Anthony and Abortion

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 30, 2007

Susan B. Anthony is quickly associated and quoted when it comes to feminism and the women movement. She fought for equal rights and the ability to be free of “men’s oppression.” What is never cited, though, is her vehement detest of abortion. She called it “child-murder.” The woman who gave women these quotes to use any time they need a woman to call out to when their rights are in question: Read the rest of this entry »

Time Travel is Impossible No Matter What YOU Think

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 30, 2007

Time travel is a fascination with many people. I am one of them. Every once in a while I’ll imagine what I’d do if I could go back in time. Almost always, it has something to do with how I make myself rich today. Typically, the ending turns me into a multi-billionaire. Why settle for a couple million? Read the rest of this entry »

America is FINALLY Taking Over the World

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 29, 2007

America as a civilization has been pitifully absent from empirical takeovers during its existence. You can say we took over Mexican and French land to have what is now the U.S.A. It was all supposedly Indian land anyway so we really took it over from Indians. Anyway, no one should really care anyway. We’ve got this country that has been isolated. We’re Read the rest of this entry »

John Edwards’ Wife Does Not Have Cancer

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 27, 2007

I only had one vote which means one of two things. Either no one cares or no one is reading. I prefer to think that no one cares. So, based on one reader that truly does care, I give you my 100% accurate article discussing truths about the Edwards campaign.

Look, right now, there are no contenders for the White House that are worth voting for by anyone. They are all in it for personal gain and care nothing for the United States as a whole. With that being said, John Edwards is capitalizing on his wife’s fake disease. You heard it here first. Read the rest of this entry »

A Wikipedia Game That Is Utterly Addictive

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 27, 2007

This morning, before work, I came across an interesting Wikipedia game. The game is very simple. You start with a search term (in my case, I chose Wendy’s) and click to another Wikipedia article from that page and see how many it takes you to get back to your original topic. You can’t cheat and go back a page if you don’t like where your headed. Take a look at mine and see how I tried to get back to Read the rest of this entry »

HotEnough.org Application Update!

Posted by iwanttofitin on March 27, 2007

This morning I checked my email with the hope of getting something related to hotenough.org. I’ve been waiting a while and have heard nothing. My trust in the service was plummeting exponentially. To my surprise, I was the proud recipient of an email from hotenough.org. To be honest, if it was a rejection letter it wouldn’t have been a big deal. That would have been fun to write about. I truly am sorry to say that it wasn’t an acceptance letter either. Read the rest of this entry »
